These terms are an agreement between you and Fragen Network Private Limited ("Platterly", "we", "us"). They apply when you visit platterly.in or create or use an account on Caterly by Platterly. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
1. The service
Caterly by Platterly is web software that helps catering businesses manage customers, events, menus, orders, kitchen work, delivery and payments. We may add, change or retire features over time. We will tell you in advance if a change would take away something you rely on.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract, and you must give accurate information.
- The person who creates a kitchen account is its owner and is responsible for everything done under it, including by team members they invite.
- Keep your password safe and tell us at once about any misuse. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One account is for one business. Do not share logins between people; invite team members instead.
3. Free trial and paid plans
- New accounts start with a free trial of 7 days with full access. No card is needed to start.
- After the trial, continued use needs a paid plan. Prices are shown on the Catering page and in your account, in Indian rupees. GST at the applicable rate is added at checkout.
- A plan is paid for a month or a year in advance.
- Monthly plans renew automatically. When you first pay, you approve an auto-pay mandate with Razorpay, and the plan price is charged every 30 days until you pause it in Settings → Subscription. Pausing stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the 30 days already paid for.
- Yearly plans do not renew automatically. We remind you by email before the year ends, and you choose whether to pay again to continue. See the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
- When the free trial ends, the account is paused until you pay for a plan. When a paid period ends, you have 7 days to pay for the next one; if payment has not been received after 7 days, the account is paused. A paused account keeps its data and is available again as soon as you pay.
- We may change prices for future periods. A price change never affects a period you have already paid for.
- We issue a GST invoice for every payment. Payments are not refundable, except where the law requires it; see the Refund Policy.
4. Your data
You own the information you put into Platterly, including your customers' details, menus, orders and records ("your data"). You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you. You are responsible for having the right to enter your customers' information and for using it lawfully. How we handle personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy.
You can export key records and delete all the data in your account from Settings. When an account is closed we delete or anonymise its data after the period needed for legal and accounting purposes.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Platterly to break the law, to send spam or abusive messages, to upload harmful code, to try to access another account or our systems without permission, to overload the service, to resell it without our written agreement, or to copy or reverse engineer it. Messages you send through Platterly (such as links to your customers) must be ones your customers would expect to receive.
6. Payments you take from your customers
If you connect your own payment gateway account to collect money from your customers, those payments are between you, your customer and your payment provider. Platterly records and displays them but is not a party to them and does not hold your customers' money. You are responsible for your own taxes, invoices and refunds to your customers.
7. Our property
Platterly, its software, design, name and logo belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a right to use the service, not to own any part of it. If you send us feedback we may use it without owing you anything.
8. Availability and support
We work to keep Platterly available and secure, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, with notice where we can. You can reach us at [email protected].
9. Suspension and ending
You can stop using Platterly at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or stays unpaid, and we will tell you why where we can. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as payment owed, data and liability) continue after the account ends.
10. Our responsibility
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profit, lost orders or lost business arising from use of the service. Our total liability to you for anything connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell account owners by email or in the product before it applies, and the date above will change. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bangalore, India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under consumer or other laws that cannot be waived.
